Frank has over twenty years of litigation experience and has been Board Certified in Construction Litigation since 2016. Frank previously served as In-House Counsel for a multi-million dollar shell subcontractor for a few years that afforded him an understanding regarding the business side of how a construction company operates. Frank understands the estimating, scheduling and project management side of how contractors operate which has helped mold Frank’s practice to keep a keen eye towards a client’s business based decisions as part of the problem solving process.

Frank has tried close to fifty cases during his career, including jury trials, bench trials, and arbitration, including matters in New York and New Jersey. Frank has secured numerous 7 figure awards and settlements for clients throughout the State and is regarded as a top and formidable construction lawyer in Florida.

Frank has had the privilege of representing contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, developers and design professionals, and is proud that a significant number of the firm’s clientele has been with the firm for over ten years.

REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS:

  • Represented subcontractor in breach of contract and payment bond claims in arbitration - secured $1.1M award in client’s favor.
  • Represented subcontractor in breach of contract and payment bond claims in circuit court - secured $1.4M summary judgment award award in client’s favor.
  • Represented contractor in breach of contract and mechanic’s lien claim against the owner – Court awarded client $385,000.00.
  • Represented sub-subcontractor in nonpayment claim against subcontractor on I-595 – secured $900,000.00 settlement.
  • Represented contractor in bid protest proceeding as second low bidder and prevailed.
  • Defended contractor and its surety from numerous payment bond claims pertaining to the building of strip mall and supermarket in Broward County, Florida.
  • Successfully defended homeowner in foreclosure claim as Court found mortgagor had no standing to enforce the note.
